Karlstorbahnhof – Heidelberg’s young Center of Culture

The Karlstorbahnhof is a center of culture of Heidelberg which has been persisting since 1955. This center of culture is one of the youngest centers of Germany and it is shaped very varied. It has a wide variety of events. In the Karlstorbanhof are housed the Kulturcafé, the Theaterverein, the Eine-Welt-Zentrum and the Mediumforum. Here you can find Dj events, diverse concerts, comedy events, many little presentations and of course theater plays. Here you can even take part in classes of all types. There is no limit to the possibilities here. You will find in the Karlstorbahnhof everything you’re interested in no matter if you are old or young.

For instance, on June 24, 2012 at 3 p.m. the theater play “Jimm Knopf und Lukas der Lokomotivführer” will takes place. It is aimed at children from 4 years of age.

On June 28, 2012 at 8 p.m.  there will be the play “EheKracher. Eine explosive Komödie” for a more grown-up audience. That promises to be an exciting evening.

There is also no lack of parties. On June 23, 2012 from 10 p.m. there will takes place the electro swing party “La Nuit Bohème” in the hall.

Or do you like more dubstep? In this case you should come round in Karlstorbahnhof on July 06, 2012 at 00.00 o’clock to the party named “Tiefdruck”.

Not to be repetitive but it has to be said: in Karlstorbahnhof you will find everything from A to Z. Discontent is not known in this place. Just come round and see with your own eyes.

Got hungry from all this cultural staff? Why don’t eat a tasty snack like e.g. Palatinat Liverwurst with bread? Or would you like to try some other Palatinate Specialty Sausages? Cornelius has plenty of them! But check it out yourself.
